Makati LGU launches COVID-19 booster shots for medical workers

Medical frontliners may proceed to Palanan Elementary School and Ayala Malls Circuit for their third dose of the vaccine.

“Magdala lamang ng valid ID at vaccination card bilang katunayang tumanggap kayo ng inyong bakuna mula sa Makati ,” the LGU said on its Facebook post. “Pinapaalalahanan ang lahat na tanging mga health worker lamang na nabakunahan na ng kumpletong dose sa nakalipas na anim na buwan o higit pa ang maaaring tumanggap ng booster shot ,” it added.

Fully vaccinated health care workers may get their third dose or booster shot of the Covid-19 vaccine starting Nov. 17, the Department of Health said. In a public advisory released Monday night, the DOH recommended Moderna, Pfizer, and Sinovac as booster doses regardless of the brand used in the primary series.
