Feminine Health & Fibroid (FHF) Support Network held an awareness campaign, tagged: Charity Walk, on Saturday, November 13

Themed, ‘Speak Up’, the event sought to boost awareness on feminine health issues, help women find support in the experience of others, and promote physical and mental health wellness.

She described the Network as a platform where women can “share their experiences, get support, get advice and education, support others, create awareness and be sign-posted to find solutions so that other women won’t go through the same unpleasant experiences they’ve endured and survived”. She pleaded with governments at all levels to aid the awareness by providing a better healthcare system to help spread the message. She called for policies that would encourage other stakeholders to partake in the campaign. She also advised the government to initiate free diagnoses across healthcare centres yearly.
