for children will come “in the next one to two weeks,” leaving open the possibility that some kids could be at least partially protected by Christmas.
More than 1,800 people with COVID-19 were hospitalized, she said, with 528 in intensive care units and an average of 22 deaths reported daily. Tam said in the news conference that the requirement is for a “molecular test,” which can include a lab-based PCR or other tests that can offer results more quickly. Too risky. No long term studies, especially in kids. They don't get sick. Look at what's happening to young men, heart problems due to injections. If only studies had been done and risks shared for informed consent to take place.
Why so long. CDC in states approved it much earlier and US kids are getting the jabs. Too much red tape in this country
l_stone Two weeks? Why? US kids are getting vaccinated. And let anyone whose second dose is six months get a booster.
Vaccines should never be given to children when they have only just been developed
This decision should have been made weeks ago!
Too slow
Cue the antivax, the TROLLS and the BOTS
Anyone who let's there 5-11 year old get that poison are completely fuked! Do your research!
There had been two deaths in under 14s at July 1... 18 months in. The only threat to children is effects from the vaccine that are not showing up yet. My two year old had Covid, slight cough for a day. No long term effects ten months later. We've sold out to big pharma. Sad!
When will Novavax get approved.
Unacceptable…get moving
People who are vaccinated can still contract and spread the virus, all it does is stop them from likely ending up in the ICU. Kids already 99.9% of the time suffer no ill-effects from this virus so why are we pushing this? It will literally do nothing. It won't stop spread!
