UBA Foundation, the corporate social responsibility arm of United Bank for Africa Plc, has kicked off a week-long series of activities aimed at raising mental health awareness among workers and customers.
It said majority of those affected were reluctant to speak out and seek help for fear of stigmatisation. The Group Managing Director, UBA, Kennedy Uzoka, while delivering his goodwill message at the event, emphasised the importance of wellness and mental health.
