House Democrats will add four weeks of paid leave to the party's social spending and climate package, people familiar with the plan said

WASHINGTON—House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said House Democrats would add a paid-leave measure to the party’s education, healthcare and climate package, trying to revive a provision that had fallen out of the $1.

85 trillion legislation afterThe bill will propose providing four weeks of paid leave, according to people familiar with the plan, shorter than the 12 weeks of leave that Democrats had initially hoped to include in the legislation.

Altering the climate is exactly equivalent to pushing on the ocean. It has an effect, but it’s impossible (not difficult - really, mathematically impossible) to predict what that effect will be. Tread carefully.

Most daycare providers won't take a 4 week old baby, so the parents would need private home care. WE ARE SUCH A JOKE compared to other countries that actually care about the mother & child bond! Don't get a C-section ladies, cuz you won't be able to drive to work.

Is this for everyone who gives birth or would there be income thresholds? How much would one get for the 4-weeks? While it does sound 'popular' it may not be as 'popular' once you start reading the fine print.

It never ends with these people. Keep spending money we don't have.

and it won't be supported by enough democrats to get passed and they will than hold press conferences to attack one another.
