From Wednesday, no dining in and entry to large malls for people who aren't vaccinated from COVID-19

The Government also announced other updated vaccination-differentiated safe management measures that will take effect next week.

In-person classes serving students aged 12 years and below will also be allowed to resume from Oct 11. Indoor mask-on and all outdoor activities and classes are capped at 50 people. Mr Wong said that the Government was concerned about unvaccinated seniors, but also vaccinated seniors and young children who are not eligible for vaccines.

It is to prevent them to get infected because once they get covid it is worse effect than thoae people who got vaccinated...its just a way of protecting the unprotected to be infected

Bottom line is vaccinated or unvaccinated,if your antibody can do the job you are safe or else you are game over.

Seems like telling those unvaccinated, beware as we are getting the vaccinated to catch the covid to increase the infection rate and to achieve herd immune asap. On the other hand, 83% vaccinated pose less threat than 17% non vaccinated. Out of those 17%, how many are elderly?

This is another way to present a lockdown...Better to restrict the FW movement better.

Makes no sense at all 🤦🏻‍♀️

Will have to apply logic into the policy. How do you stop uncles/aunties who do not know how to use handphone to prove their vaccination status. Is it detectable through the token? And malls for 12 and above only? Cinema? Sport ctr? CC? Zoo? Very soon schl yr end exam over.

Great, as recently most infected are elderly. So it good to kind of encourage them to go for vaccine if they want to drink and chat in coffeeshop.

HUH what about kids and people who can't take the vaccines Sorry. The government rushed into endemic with no preparation and decided to now enforce all these rules that were stricter that the initial rules.

How about children?

How are open coffee shops going to enforce it when anybody could just sit down and start eating unless they seal up the place though it does not prevent those who pretend to go in and da-pao just dining in. And those who enforce it will look bad making the elderly leave.
