Among the fatalities reported on Wednesday, the three women had been unvaccinated against COVID-19 and had various underlying medical conditions. The remaining 15 cases are imported, of whom five were detected upon their arrival in Singapore, while 10 developed the illness during their stay-home notice or isolation period.
Of the list of monitored clusters, the highest number of 29 new cases – all quarantined – was added to the cluster at ASPRI-Westlite Papan Dormitory. The cluster now has 196 cases.
