New York may tap National Guard to replace unvaccinated healthcare workersNew York Governor Kathy Hochul is considering employing the National Guard and out-of-state medical workers to fill hospital staffing shortages with tens of thousands of workers possibly losing their jobs for not meeting a Monday deadline for mandated COVID-19 vaccination. That would make sense only were the vaccines a) proven to be safe mid-to-long term b) effective in at least stopping the dissemination/transfer Since, at this point in time, they're neither, this is pure politics & pinch of science. (Also I'm not an USA citizen & am vaxed) Makes good sense. An elderly friend in a nursing home contracted Covid from a visiting nurse. He survived but it was scary. Just found out that a third outbreak occurred because unvaccinated asymptomatic visitors passed the virus to a patient. Good the patients are vaccinated.

New York faces a showdown this week over vaccine mandates in schools, courts and health careMonday is the deadline for tens of thousands of New York workers to be vaccinated against Covid-19. Court orders, though, have thrown that deadline off for some. The Hochel Hammer coming down I'm just hoping sh*t like this doesnt inspire new york democrats to move to states that are still free and bring their liberal politics with them. Should be between doctor and patient. Can you please provide the clinical evidence that the risk of a serious adverse effect from the injections is lower than the risk of hospitalization from c19? Did you know that Remdesivir had 30% severe adverse effects in the clinical trials?
