BREAKING: Victoria's COVID-19 cases has risen sharply overnight with more than 300 cases recorded as regional areas - except Greater Shepparton - prepare to emerge from lockdown on Thursday night.

Premier Daniel Andrews rewarded regional Victoria for keeping COVID-19 infections low by announcing the area will"cautiously" emerge from lockdown on Thursday night.
