The letter said the sole agenda of the meeting was to brief the general house on the effort and doggedness of the state executive council to bring to the governor’s attention the need to better reposition the condition of service of our members and other relevant health care workers.
“There should be provision for adequate security in all of our hospitals to avoid breaking down of law and order by patients and their relatives. According to the association, if our demands are not met by Sept. 13, 2021, we shall have no alternative than to withdraw the service of our members across all the hospitals in the State.
According to him, the issue of salary increase is not peculiar to Kwara alone but the whole country, and that the Federal Government also is unable to solve the issues they have with National Association of Resident Doctors .
