I have always found September is a much better time to kickstart a new health plan than January. The change of routine as everyone goes back to school and work means a change of appetite feels genuinely appealing too. It has been a summer of indulgence for many and, after a challenging year, who could blame us for overdoing it on holiday? Fish and chips on the beach, ice creams, sweets on long car journeys and too much to drink.
