Florida woman hospitalized with Covid returns home to find husband dead of same disease.

A Florida woman who was hospitalized for over a week with Covid-19 said she went home to what she described as a"nightmare" — her husband had died of the same disease while she was gone.that her husband, Ron Steadman, was first diagnosed with Covid-19 in early August but that at the time it seemed no worse than a"bad cold."

But Steadman, 58, also came down with Covid-19 and fainted. She was rushed to the hospital, where she stayed for eight days. Ron Steadman, 55, stayed home to watch the dogs. Lisa Steadman spent several days in a hospital recovering from Covid-19, and when she returned home, she discovered that her husband had died from complications from the same disease. Neither had been vaccinated. While she was in the hospital, Steadman could not get in touch with her husband. She asked police to conduct a wellness check, and they said he was well.

But less than 48 hours later, Lisa returned home on Aug. 18 to find her husband dead in bed. The dogs, she said, were starving and near death. "I can't get that picture out of my mind," Steadman told WFLA."I wish I never would have found him like that.""Both of us felt that it hadn't been tested enough yet. Now after being in the hospital and talking with my doctor, when I am able to take it, I will in September," she said.

comorbidity is that they were both morbidly obese

Say what they were. Unvaccinated.

0.3%. Zero. Point. Three.

Glad the dogs are ok.

Very sad. Sincere condolences.

Get Vaccinated, wear a mask!

👌🏿

Doesn't sound like the Florida police did a thorough wellness check. GetVaccinatedNow

One thing that stuck out to me was that clearly the police didn’t check on him because dogs do not get to the starving and near death stage in 48 hours. I would be all over their asses to show me proof they went

Florida management approves.

I truly wish people would have takes this Pandemic seriously, now people are learning the hard way, was it worth it? COVID19 CovidIsNotOver pandemic

Lots of stupid people out there!!

Wow 🥺 this is sad

I mean...

🙏 PleaseVaxUpAmerica PleaseMaskUpAmerica

Thanks for nothing, cops who obviously didn’t do an actual wellness check. 😬

Lol… people… just because you have chlamydia, it’s not ok to have gonnococcus. So pls don’t compare obesity deaths and malpractice deaths with COVID deaths

I admire this guy principle. Given the vaccine availability in the US, he chose not to vaccinate, die at home and spare the hospital resources. Anti-vaxxers and anti-mask must emulate this chap. He stood his ground till the end.

Does anyone see a pattern with these Covid death stories? Anyone?

Why is anyone still surprised by this?

If only there was something that could’ve potentially prevented his death. Oh wait.

Don’t forget to add that they weren’t vaccinated !!!!!!!!

ok ok, I am getting my vaxx now, I was so afraid reading covid horror stories.

Oh dear, why didn't he go to hospital too?

The geniuses thought the vaccines were being rushed. Duh! They were being rushed so we don’t have to go through what they just did.

That’s exactly the scenario to start the Zombie apocalypse.

Hanswolff1 Just so sad. My heart goes out to her and her family💔💔🙏

There is no excuse for anyone to have to die from COVID-19. GetVaccinatedNow

The fact that it's claimed she had police do a wellness check on her husband and they allegedly said he was fine, only for him to find him dead 2 days later...seems like a detail that the headline should give more attention to...

If a rotting corpse still has live C19 virus in it .. 1. Is the host still contagious? 2. Would the virus from that host mutate to become less deadly?.. (essentially viruses want to stay alive in a host)

Florida just full of winners.
