Covid19 daily cases and deaths reached new record highs since the start of the pandemic with 24,599 cases and 393 deaths reported on Thursday, says the Health Ministry. Read more at

Cumulatively, Malaysia has recorded 1,640,843 Covid-19 cases since the pandemic began.

Selangor has 6,936 new cases, the highest among all states while Sabah has the second highest , followed by Johor . Penang recorded 2,078 cases; Sarawak ; Kedah ; Kelantan ; Perak ; Kuala Lumpur ; Pahang ; Terengganu ; Negri Sembilan ; Melaka ; Putrajaya and Labuan .
