erinotoole jkenney so Erin when do you build safe sites for rapists, drink drivers, murders. And other evil actions which should be shut down and prosecuted. Taking drugs is a choice, u should be helping the people they steal from to get more drugs. Say No to Drug users.

alcoholawareness As you too shared ,The Globe and Mail,Alcohol is the new cigarette, and by far Canada's most harmful drug, not opioids! Hold O'Toole accountable to take action!

Suuuuuure he TOTALLY believes that. Not at all just saying what people want to hear because he won't get elected on his actual stance.

you don't recover by taking more dope...you just get dopier.

I wouldn't say he backed them as much as he said he wouldn't block health Canada approvals. You could ask him details, like what he'd do to the $116M for harm reduction in the last federal budget. Or what he'd say to Alberta, who cut $2M from their budget and closed a site.

Hopefully their policies will not include the legalization of hard drugs. We already see far to many people on our streets shooting up and smoking crack and other hard drugs blowing their smoke in the faces of others and the police do nothing about it. Time to stop this nonsense

Mr O'Toole, what was the opioidcrisis before you realized it was a health crisis? The world has known since the 60s that drug addiction is a health problem. Nevertheless, welcome to modern times Mr O'Toole.

How late to the party can one be?

Gotta love a government who helps drug addicts actually get high.bust what about all us alcoholics out there? Where is the free beer and liquor site? I could use a drink and shot.

I’m mostly offended that this article calls NewWest a “Vancouver suburb”. 😉

Good to see this won’t be a wedge issue and the government can get on with doing something about it.

The current government has been backing them for a while, sad that Kenny closed most of them

Team O’Toole In Alberta supports O’Toole’s stance in favour of ABNDP drug sites, as well as O’Toole’s pro-choice stance and his support for a carbon tax. ableg abpoli cdnpoli canpoli Elxn44

O’Toole has zero credibility on this issue. His pal Kenney shut down safe injection sites in Alberta.
