Under normal circumstances I support protests but not in the middle of a growing pandemic. By gathering like this they run the risk of spreading the virus to each other but they also certainly achieve the opposite of what they want; a longer lockdown, more job losses, no travel

The absurdity of the situation on the border is on one side of the road all stores are closed, on the other side markets open, cafes open, restaurants open and people can walk between unhindered. Then there’s a naval vessel off the coast (symbolic presumably) as boats go past it.
We have ourselves to blame. You can’t manage or legislate stupidity. It’s not the Government’s fault, it’s the citizens who refuse to do the right thing. Them and those who now are having an AZ jab but back in April took their advice from Facebook and not their GP as requested.
