KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 22 — Health director general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah has said the decision to stop administering vaccines at private clinics was done contrary to his advice.
Dr Noor Hisham was responding to Klang MP Charles Santiago, who questioned the Covid-19 Immunisation Task Force’s decision to stop vaccination appointments at 741 private clinics, several private hospitals and ambulatory care centres in Selangor. Dr Subramaniam said the association was puzzled as to why the CITF had abruptly decided to halt vaccination appointments at 741 private GP clinics, several private hospitals and ambulatory care centres in the Klang Valley.

MP Santiago. Come out with Data on People not vaccinated yet. Detail on Geographical Area. Identify the Area for Public vaccination. Work with State MB and MOH to Rapidly expedite the vaccination program. Work like Responsible MP. Not Shout n Blamed.
Minister needs to look into this matter seriously. This may not be the only advice given by the DG which is being ignored

If the GP started to give vaccine for certain race only then it would be a problem coz it's unregulated.
