Malaysia has recorded 22,948 new Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours, the Health Ministry reported on Thursday (Aug 19). Read more at

The country’s cumulative case tally is now 1,489,460.The country discharged another 21,720 patients - also a new daily record.There were 178 more deaths, taking the Covid-19 death toll to 13,480.This includes 1,060 patients under intensive care and 528 with ventilator support.
