The Lagos State University, Ojo, Lagos, has rescinded on its decision to make a PhD degree a criteria for Medical and Dental professionals who wishes to apply for the Vice-Chancellor position in the institution.
Recall that on July, 25, 28 and 30, 2021, LASU published three adverts in three newspapers and stated that possession of a postgraduate Medical Fellowship was an unacceptable qualification for candidates wishing to apply for a vacant position of VC in the school.
“For candidates in the Medical and Dental professions, supervision of PhD as earlier advertised is also not mandatory.”Read Also
