Zambales has imposed stricter border controls amid the threat of the more transmissible COVID-19 Delta variant, which was detected in Olongapo City.
SAN ANTONIO, Zambales––Seventy-five more COVID-19 cases were reported in this province on Thursday, Aug. 12, officials said. It was one of the highest single-day infections logged in Zambales since the pandemic started last year.Provincial health director Dr. Noel Bueno said 17 of the latest cases were between 4 months and 18 years old.FEATURED STORIES
