Covid-19: Sarawak Health director blames SOP flouters for record high new cases in state today

KUCHING, Aug 12 — Sarawak Health director Datuk Dr Mohamed Sapian Mohamed blamed standard operating procedure flouters as the main cause which led to a spike in the number of new Covid-19 cases in the state today.

“There are also employers who still refuse to allow their employees to undergo screening or work from home when they have symptoms, until the onset of clusters in the workplace,” he said in a statement today. “Don’t let the joy during the celebration or festivities end with grief and the loss of those we love,” he said.
