PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte has ordered the Department of Health to respond to the Commission on Audit after it reported deficiencies in its spending of some P67.32 billion in coronavirus disease 2019 response funds, Malacañang said on Thursday. The CoA on Wednesday flagged DoH for not complying with existing laws and regulations in managing the Covid-19 response funds, although the department said the funds were accounted for.Palace spokesman Harry Roque Jr.
The President is keen to read the answers dahil medyo mabigat ang mga obserbasyon sa DoH ,' Roque said during a virtual press briefing.
