to enter the state but she was still to finalise any quarantine arrangements depending on where in NSW the family was based amid expanding COVID-19 hotspots.

“What if these people test positive on day 10 or 11 and the funeral was day eight,” Dr Young said of the family members, referring to the 10 new COVID-19 cases reported moments earlier in close contacts of the Indooroopilly cluster still in home quarantine.Dr Young said the park where the incident happened was close to where she lived and she knew it well.

The council had been aware of reports about that particular magpie but would not answer why it had not been removed previously atWhile swooping season for most birds runs from July to December, complaints are largely recorded in September. Before Sunday’s incident, five had been lodged so far this year across all species in the 70,000 square-metre park, with one on July 5 and 7, two on July 29, and another on August 2.

mattdennien This is inhumane. Surely they could get a rapid antigen test and if negative attend the funeral. I am sure they would be happy to turn up in Hazmat suits if required. If only they played footy.

mattdennien Nobody wants to see this, but all you “heartless & cruel' morons can piss-off. Take it up with 400 cases a day Gladys. QLD has worked hard to keep our most vulnerable people safe from COVID. The needs of a few, no matter how tragic cannot put the rest of the community at risk

mattdennien Arrrgh this anger me so much! Stop this nuisance, this is causing so much turmoil for people who are grieving. It's so painful! Quarantine shouldn't be that long!

mattdennien Australia has lost the plot with this covid scam
