A registered midwife who has been repeatedly denied entry into regional Western Australia from Adelaide has lashed out at a state government plan to pay relocation costs for overseas health workers. She says her multiple applications to enter the state have been rejectedHannah John has accepted a job with the Kalgoorlie Health Service, but says she has had three separate applications for a G2G pass rejected.
Ms John's partner is already living in Kalgoorlie awaiting her arrival, which she said added to her frustration and determination to gain approval to cross the border."It's literally just too much, you've got to jump over these hoops and cross all this red tape, it's just too hard," she said. "I'm willing to wait for a while, hopefully until I can get in, but yeah, it's just looking really difficult.
Seems to me she is playing the sympathy card but something is fishy as alluded by wa police. All that said , prefer we are ultra safe otherwise we end up a failed state circus like nsw. Greater good etc, such it up sweetheart
Bloody ridiculous.
States don’t have the capacity to think and make it work. It is too easy to overspend to fix a simple problem rather than work on it. Besides restrictions, what are states actually doing at the moment? Seems everything is on hold “due to the current situation” BS.
wake up Mclown and Cooke let this essential worker in we are screaming for nurses , its ok for footballers to jet in and out
