Victoria is yet again divided by two different sets of Covid-19 restrictions, but more severe measures will be in force across Melbourne as lockdown is extended for another week.

The lockdown was set to end on Thursday at 11.59pm, but a rise in mystery cases triggered Premier Daniel Andrews to announce a seven-day extension of Melbourne’s lockdown.

The lockdown in regional Victoria was lifted on Monday as infections remain contained within metropolitan Melbourne.For medical/care purposes;
