Up to 50 refugee doctors were recruited to work in the Royal London Hospital’s intensive care units at the height of the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic under a NHS scheme aiding foreign medical graduates to register as doctors in the UK.
Those doctors would have been better employed giving care to their own countrymen back home rather than to wealthy, middle class metropolitan types.
