Health Ministry director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said the Covid-19 pandemic highlighted the deficiencies of the country's healthcare system.
Delivering a speech to the Malaysian Society of Anaesthesiologists & College of Anaesthesiologists Annual Scientific Congress 2021 virtually, Noor Hisham said this was something that healthcare workers had been dealing with for a long time.
And why is the system deficient? - lack of future planning, - poor leadership at every level, - corrupt practices, - lack of accountability to rakyat & tax payers - double standards etc We need competent, honest, fair and just leaders starting at KKM

COVID-19 exposed the failure of the DG in charge of healthcare system for allowing its spread by half hearted enforcement of sop. Imaging how seriously ordinary folks will abide by the rules if he had made PN politicians pay dearly for breaking sop over & over.
