IHCM director Prof Dr David Perera said the new cases were detected from 355 positive Covid-19 cases sequenced as of July 27 in the ongoing tracking and surveillance of the virus variants circulating in the state.
"We had 124 cases in Kuching, eight in Lundu and five in Bau, representing a detection rate of 65% or 137 of the Covid-19 samples sequenced," he said in a statement on Tuesday .
