In a statement, the Iran Embassy said many of its staff as well as its citizens in Malaysia have benefited from the programme.“With the necessary measures, the number has risen to over 20 million doses in a few months, and this has led to the admiration of the world.“Malaysia also includes all foreign nationals in its national vaccination initiative and no exceptions are made by health officials.
“In this regard, the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kuala Lumpur is grateful for the full and sincere cooperation and assistance of the relevant Malaysian authorities. “Most Iranians living in Malaysia have also benefited from this opportunity to be vaccinated through the mainstream programme as well as coordinated ones arranged by the embassy.
“Undoubtedly, the Malaysian authorities should be commended in this coordinated, fair and just move, that all human beings should be placed under the umbrella of healthcare,” said the statement.
