Health authorities are racing to track down the close contacts of a positive COVID-19 case who flew from Brisbane to Rockhampton late last week.
It's believed she was infectious when she took a Qantas flight from Brisbane to Rockhampton on 28 July and a return flight on 30 July.Authorities are contacting people who were on QF2362 at 8.30am on 28 July and QF2365 at 6.40pm on 30 July. The case means the potential exposure sites linked to the Queensland outbreak have spread well beyond the state's southeast, where a three-day lockdown is under way.There are more than 80 exposure sites linked to the outbreak, with about 20 new sites of concern listed on Sunday.
Non-essential travel must be within 10 kilometres of residences and everyone must wear a mask when outside their home.
Hello, hello? Anyone not an idiot listening? Australia is an island the size of Europe. Why put infected people in quarantine in the cities, for the cost to the gdp they could have built isolated hotels far from any cities. Then kept all the staff there, no chance of delta.
