Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said this was based on a health risk assessment and to prevent transmission of Covid-19 in Parliament.
The Dewan Rakyat special sitting on Aug 2 was postponed indefinitely due to the risk of Covid-19 transmission. He said the Health Ministry had given them two options, the first of which was to postpone the special sitting until the vaccination coverage was at least 40%, especially in the Klang Valley.

If parliament staff is 90% vaccinated yet this DG lapdog says no activities can be conducted, he is suggesting that vaccinations are useless. So what are we going to do even when we vaccinate 90% of the country? Arrest DGHisham for treason and obstruction of democracy.
Most if not all Malls and hypermarket which operates until 10.00pm will close only for 3 days for sanitisation if there is Covid-19 detected among shoppers/employees! MYParlimen is so 'filthy' is it DGHisham ? Amazing that you are selling your soul for politicians survival! 🤦♂️
