Specifically, investigators evaluated the differences in mental health symptoms , alcohol use and cannabis use for pre- and post-college closures.Article content, the pre-proof study findings indicate that alcohol and cannabis use days were up 13 per cent and 24 per cent, respectively, from pre- to post-university closure.

Although researchers did not identify any differences in anxiety symptoms or insomnia in post-closing participants, “depressive symptoms and anger were both modestly higher.”
