They won't believe it the covid deniers. Nothings real and nothing exists.. only consperacies. And if you have a sugar tax for fat people why not up booze a bit more as this would help with money towards dealing with health and social issues due to over drinking.

Well whatabout all the people who are dying from marijuana overdoses oh wait marijuana doesn't kill people like alcohol does

Absolutely this increase in alcohol related deaths is due to lockdown restrictions. These deaths are part of the collateral damage to public health and to the economy caused by lockdown. Those who hanker after longer lockdown clearly prefer to ignore such collateral damage.

What is often a missed side effect from Covid - alcoholism, mental health issues, undiagnosed cancer, list can go on.
