THE Department of Health reported zero deaths from coronavirus disease 2019 on Friday, July 23, 2021, due to technical issues in the CovidKaya surveillance system.

In its case bulletin, the DOH listed 6,845 new cases of coronavirus disease 2019 , zero deaths and 2,330 new recoveries. The active cases constituted 3.6 percent of the total cases in the country, of which 93.4 percent were mild, 2.3 percent were severe, 1.6 percent were moderate, 1.4 percent were critical and 1.3 percent were asymptomatic.

For the rest of Luzon, she said upward trends were observed in the regions of Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon and Calabarzon.
