BREAKING: Health authorities have detected the local transmission of the highly infectious Delta COVID-19 variant in the Philippines, the DOH announced Thursday night. READ:

“Both the national and local governments have been continuously working together to intensify the implementation of the prevent, detect, isolate, treat, and re-integrate response strategies and increase the country’s health system capacity to be able to manage cases,” it said.

The health agency reminded the public to continue following strict public health protocols to stem the spread of the virus, as well as avoid unnecessary travels and gatherings.

It should be expected. The virus mutates and not because someone from overseas brought it. An official already mentioned a week or so ago that it is a matter of when, not if.

Alam na po namin yan and no need to panick us. Basta negative news gusto eh tarantahin ang mga tao instead na tumulong para maiwasan yung said virus. Believe and pray instead of worrying because those bias media companies like this one are bad for our health. Junk them!
