NSW is bracing for another day of soaring COVID-19 cases but the state's chief health officer says it won't necessarily be a numbers game going forward.Chief health officer Kerry Chant said those numbers need to be interpreted base on their time spent in isolationYesterday, the daily COVID-19 case figure ticked over into triple digits for the first time since April 3 last year, with 112 infections recorded.
"The numbers are a bit variable because we have to interpret about whether we are getting to people early," Dr Chant said when asked about what to expect today.
