The Covid19 death toll continued to rise on Sunday (July 11), with 91 fatalities recorded, says the Health Ministry. Read more at

Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah also said new daily Covid-19 cases continued to outpace recoveries as Malaysia recorded 9,105 infections and 5,194 recoveries.

"The youngest casualty reported on Sunday was a 24-year-old man at Selayang Hospital, who had tuberculosis and chronic lung disease," Dr Noor Hisham said. Melaka recorded 278 cases, while Sabah had 271, Sarawak , Penang , Perak , Kelantan , Labuan , Putrajaya , Terengganu and one in Perlis.The R0/Rt data projects the average number of people that each new Covid-19 patient will infect.
