NSW Chief Health Officer Kerry Chant has urged older people who have had one AstraZeneca vaccine to bring forward their second dose to six weeks after the death of a woman in her 90s | _SarahMcPhee

Dr Chant said the “vast majority” of cases continue to be detected in south-western Sydney.

Deputy Police Commissioner Gary Worboys said 106 infringement notices were issued for people breaching health orders. They included a group of 15 men aged 50-90 playing cards in a unit in Marrickville; and 10 people at an 18th birthday party near Sydney Olympic Park. Mr Perrottet said it was a very challenging time for businesses, no doubt experiencing “significant pain” and doing so without JobKeeper.

_SarahMcPhee So why are over 60’s not allowed to get the Pfizer vaccine unless they’ve had blood clots etc? Why are the elderly being discriminated against by only being allowed the AstraZenica & not Pfizer ( unless they’ve had certain medical conditions)

_SarahMcPhee Maybe offer older people the Pfizer so they get their first shot. Lots of people out there who won’t have the AZ.

_SarahMcPhee The Prime Minister Scott Morrison and federal health minister Greg Hunt said it is not a race though, and that Astra wasn’t the best option. Who are we supposed to believe. The mixed messages here are very confusing, so who is giving wrong advice?

_SarahMcPhee To fight the speech censorship blocking of big media political interests, we need Gettr!

_SarahMcPhee How many times to the less insane medical authorities have to say that anything under 10 weeks greatly reduces the vaccine effectiveness?

_SarahMcPhee Don't Panic!

_SarahMcPhee Do me a favour…she died from old age WITH covid. Where is the proof that six weeks is okay for the second dose when all along it has been 12 weeks… for goodness sakes if only these people knew what they were doing with millions of lives in the balance…

_SarahMcPhee 90 years old!! I wish I could be that lucky to live to my 90s. And strangely no one is worried about vaccine deaths among under 50 years old.

_SarahMcPhee Lots of talk about another financial support package but no action ☹️

_SarahMcPhee N complete contradiction of the manufacturer’s recommendation and that of the actual epidemiologists She is nothing but an LNP propagandist

A police crackdown with no arrests, and a health crisis putting Sydney to the testThere are two issues in Sydney's south-west this morning, but which one is more pressing depends on who you talk to. Shiva acknowledges that there may be disparities in what one culture believes 'caring & compassionate needs' are compared to another. Partly why the multiculturalism concept shall never achieve social & cultural harmony but rather inherently bogged down with diversity & conflict It's incumbent on all immigrants to undertake due diligence prior to emigrating here & accept & respect the dominant culture, it's preposterous for immigrants to demand tolerance, acceptance & respect without themselves tolerating, accepting & respecting the dominant culture. When late-night shopping for groceries, do we (a) go by ourselves, or (b) take the whole family (including children) to Aldi? If you and your friends all choose (b) you can shop for essentials together. Have a catch up. Let the kids play together. Welcome to SW Sydney

'It's got to stop': Farmer to donate entire crop profit to mental health charities after mate's deathA Western Australian farmer touched by suicide vows to donate the profits of his entire crop for the rest of his farming life to mental health charities. Having more help available is great but the underlying issue that leads us down these paths still remain. Societal pressures to succeed financially. Money is the issue. So sad , on so many fronts. There is absolutely NO POLITICAL WILL in Australia to walk towards the chronic mental health, suicide and substance abuse issue in regional Australia. Our current politicians should hang their heads in shame Not sure that'll help much
