Tasmanian Public Health Services has released several 'precautionary exposure sites' after a Launceston General Hospital worker who tested negative to COVID-19 returned a positive test upon arriving in London.

Public Health has issued a list of places and times of visits by a health worker who returned a positive COVID-19 test after arriving home in the UKSites in Strathgordon, New Norfolk and Maydena are also on the list

Public Health director Mark Veitch yesterday said they both had COVID-19 tests on June 30 before leaving and returned negative results. He said both had received Pfizer vaccinations in March and April this year. Today, Public Health has issued a list of places and times of visits by the health worker and asked forto self-isolate immediately and contact the Public Health hotline to arrange a COVID-19 test.
