As of late June 2021, San Juan, Manila, Navotas, and Mandaluyong have partially vaccinated more than half of their target population against COVID-19. Quezon City, Manila, and Caloocan, meanwhile, have administered the most number of first-dose vaccines.

Work still cut out for most LGUs

Caloocan, Valenzuela, Makati, Pasig, and Malabon have yet to partially vaccinate one-third of their target population, but they are almost there. Aside from Quezon City and Caloocan, Manila, Las Piñas, and Parañaque completed the top five cities in terms of the number of first doses administered.Making sure that Filipinos have full protection against the dreaded virus remains an uphill battle. Data show that seven of 14 LGUs in Metro Manila have yet to reach the double digits in terms of percentage of people fully vaccinated out of the target population.

Quezon City and Pasay rank fifth and sixth, having fully vaccinated around 12% of their target population. It is necessary to take note that several factors contribute to the vaccination progress of LGUs.to certain vaccine brands because they met the very sensitive storage and handling requirements for the vaccines.amid dwindling COVID-19 vaccine stockpile.

QC needs to bring the vaccines to the poorest of the poor area, the slums. They are the ones who either don't have internet access (for registration), not being prioritized by their brgy, or not wanting to be vaccinated at all. They need to be educated about COVID & the vaccines.

To complete the picture, the number of vaccines delivered to these cities should be appended to this table. Hope can gather that information.

What happened to the bottom 3? Aren’s vaccines distributed bases on population? If so, the rate of vaccination should be similar across cities unless these cities are really inefficient. What do you say, Makati, Pasig and Malabon?

Marikina City is part of Metro Manila. Where are the data?

QC has a big population but they are 1 in terms of vaccine inoculation. Good job QC ! QCProtektodo

Medyo kulelat Valenzuela ngayon ah. Babawi din yan. Sana bilisan nila.

I hate to be cynical pero sana walang ipitan na nagaganap dito.
