Everything I’ve read has indicated that about 10% of breakthrough case end up in the hospital. That sounds like the same hospitalization rate as unvaccinated cases. We seem to be conflating 2 things here. Vaccines prevent infection.

Vaccines do not “immunize” and will require boosters at some point.. they do not protect against every variant and are NOT sanctioned by the FDA..those who are being vaccinated are carrying out the biggest human trial in history.. the results will not be in for at least 2 years!
