The latest figures were confirmed by the Department of Health this afternoon

A total of 284 more people have tested positive for coronavirus in Ireland, while 53 patients are currently being treated in hospital.Elsewhere, Dr Colm Henry said that the authorities are hopeful that people in their 20s will receive their first jab by the end of July or the beginning of August.
