New South Wales Premier Gladys Berejiklian has said she was comfortable with the current restrictions in Greater Sydney, despite the Bondi cluster growing to nine cases.

Authorities are keeping a close eye on the outbreak which been identified as the highly infectious Delta strain. Thousands of people have been urged to come forward for testing, regardless of symptoms.

This includes anyone who attended the Bondi Junction shopping centre on June 12 or 13, and the Birkenhead Point outlet on June 15. Masks are mandatory on public transport until Wednesday, and seven local government areas across Sydney have made masks compulsory for indoor occasions. More detail regarding the latest alerts and exposure sites can be found on the NSW Health website.
