Its secretary-general Datuk Chong Sin Woon said TCM falls under the purview of the Health Ministry and it has been acknowledged and even practised in some governmental clinics.
Chong also said that many people who traditionally depended on TCM services for their respective medical conditions are now “at their wits’ end” without their usual treatment.Chong said by allowing the TCM sector to operate during the lockdown, it could lessen the present burden on the public healthcare situation due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
