BREAKING Queensland has recorded one new local COVID-19 case, with officials urging those who have visited potential exposure sites to immediately self-isolate.

Genome sequencing later on Sunday or early Monday will confirm whether the case is the Delta variant. Anyone who visited the DFO shopping centre at the airport between 4pm and 4.30pm are being urged to immediately isolate and get tested. Those who were in the city between 5pm and 6pm are being urged to present for testing if there are symptoms.

Restaurants, cafe and bars will be allowed to have three people per four square metres. There will no limits on aged care or disability facilities. There will also be no mass gathering limits in households or outdoors."It isn't to much to ask for more freedom," Ms Palaszczuk said. "We want life to go back to as normal as possible and I think this is a very small requirement so the businesses have a few days to get that up and running and under control."

Sad why they didn't check him ?

Emirates crew are all vaccinated I presume. How many days after completing Q? Was this picked up on a day 16 test? False positive? If there was a positive case on the flight, how many others might also be infected by this “ fleeting contact” ? Hmm🤔 calls for 21 days in 3,2,1

Karma?

So is the Queensland Premier attending the Olympics She did get the Pfizer jab based on that, right?

International passengers go into quarantine but crew can roam the city freely? Nuts!
