The Tories filibustered a bill for first aid trading in schools a while back, the Bill ran out of time.

Rip little man...

It's taught in Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿. The Heartstart programme is taught from a young age. Also through Scouts - my boys are all exceptionally well trained thanks to them!

Nah, they are too busy doing important things like rewriting history, critical race theory and brainwashing kids politically.

Finally a headline even the BBC can’t politicise. Make it part of the curriculum.

I can't believe this has taken more than 40 years! Remember Brighton's Heartguard programme initiated by Dr Chamberlain?

I’m suggesting if they call 999 it’s so simple to follow their instructions to do cpr - that they will forget the training and stil listen to the operator when needed - total waste of time

We’re late on this.

Basic first aid and cpr should be on the curriculum at all schools, I had to learn all mine at scouts

We had a fantastic consultant come to our home to teach us first aid following the birth if our daughter, she said she was depserate for more schools to take up training so that it becomes second nature to them, there is zero downside to this! Hope its adopted into curriculum

Most of us have read about it but still has no idea how to do one.
