At the start of 2019, Renee Roberts found herself at a weight which she struggled to believe was true.
She decided to put the scales away, “wanting to believe” it was wrong, however she said this tactic did nothing to stop the sad emotions she was feeling after seeing those three numbers. “I also remember my boyfriend waiting one hour for me before we were meant to go out because nothing would fit. Picture: Supplied“Before that I did half-hearted diets and cut out carbs and would do random things I would find on the internet, but I never committed 100 per cent or saw results,” she said.
“Teaching people there is no ‘good’ or ‘bad’ food is really important especially in the social media world we live in today where there’s a lot of false information out there,” she said.Source:Supplied “I started focusing on consistency, ensuring I followed my meal plan and attended the gym even when I didn’t want to,” she explained.
