Malaysia to move into second phase if daily Covid-19 cases dip below 4,000

Malaysia can only move into the second phase of the National Recovery Plan once cases drop below 4,000, ICU bed occupancy goes below 75% and 10% of the population are vaccinated. – The Malaysian Insight pic by Hasnoor Hussain, June 19, 2021.

THE average Covid-19 daily cases must be below 4,000 for seven consecutive days for Malaysia to transition into the second phase of the National Recovery Plan. Health Minister Dr Adham Baba said aside from that, bed utilisation at intensive care units must be below 75%, and 10% of the population fully vaccinated.
