Lynsey Bennett has shared “the best news” that one of her tumours has reduced in size since returning home from Mexico.She has previously reached a confidential settlement in an action in the High Court over the alleged misinterpretation of her cervical smear slides.
Lynsey revealed last night that after just one session of Pembro, and thanks to the treatment in Mexico, one of her tumours has decreased by a centimetre and a half in size. “Bad news first, your girl has a clot on her lung,” she said on Instagram.She continued: “So with everything that I have been doing and have done with Mexico, and only one session of Pembro. Thank you, thank you, thank you.Lynsey added that she was “absolutely wiped” after three days in Dublin “running around”.
The Limerick native has been staying in Maryland since January where she is undergoing an experimental medical trial. She then spent three nights in hospital until they figured out what infection was causing the spiking temperatures.
