Got told yesterday Prince Charles Hospital no longer accepting Intermediate patients. Don't know if this is just Brisbane or Qld. A lot of hospital beds are taken up with elderly in & out hospital because can't get into nursing home.

So no botox, lip fillers or breast augmentations for Karens? Oh the humanity!!!

Public hospital has budget constraints 😱

Same as WA. They whack the border shut and put up restrictions due to their inadequate health system that cannot handle even ordinary stuff ....

Just get vaccinated. You won’t need the surgery in a few months 😂

In Darwin, mental health patients are kept waiting for hospital beds every dayHealth authorities say a “sustained increase” in mental health presentations at Royal Darwin Hospital is pressing the system to its limit and forcing NT Health to rearrange wards to deal with the surge in demand. What percentage of those presentations are self inflicted drug abuse? Why would Darwin be free of the 'ice' scourge afflicting the country? Are not all hospitals being inundated with psychotic drug abusers? sad none of the politicians or doctors have the guts to speak in Australia about the cause that leads to mental health,,,,like drug addiction, alcohol addiction,, childhood neglect,,bad schools,,irresponsible parents,,,divorce of parents,,,promiscuities of partner,, etc Isnt it refreshing to have a Minister be forthcoming on what is happening, what the problems area and what is being done to address them without a hint of evasiveness or blame shifting Personally I believe the increase in demand is partially driven by methamphetamine use
