MyEG remains optimistic over healthcare services post-Covid

"Management believes demand for mass screening, especially in high traffic locations, such as airports, will increase as countries gradually ease restrictions for international travelers amidst concerns over the spread of new Covid-19 variants," said CGS-CIMB Equities Research following a virtual meeting with MyEG group managing director TS Wong.

Moreover, the group plans to leverage on its partnerships with Anhui Zhifei Longcom Biopharmaceutical to distribute AZLB’s healthcare-related products outside of China, such as in the Philippines. It added that new services such as online motorcycle insurance and road tax renewal, which began in 4Q20, are gaining traction.
